Catco restoration company worked around the clock to remove smoke odors and clean up after a 3 alarm fire early Sunday morning at the Fox Theatre. St. Louis firefighters responded at 5 a.m. to a fire in the mechanical room above the theater lobby. The Fox lobby was the worst damaged but smoke odor and residue spread throughout the theatre of approximately 5,000,000 cubic feet.

The Odorox equipment was deployed throughout the facility to eliminate the smoke odors. The "Jersey Boys'' shows that were scheduled to play at 2 p.m. and at 7:30 p.m. on Sunday were cancelled, but the theatre was completely clean and deodorized for the shows to resume on Tuesday for the sixteen performances remaining for the season.
